How to measure an Aluminum Awning for replacement?
I have a family member that has an aluminum awning that was damaged by weight of snow. To replace it they were told to provide the linear feet, NOT square footage. Does she need to measure the full perimeter (all four sides?)
Measure both to be safe, The aluminum awning supplier’s product probably comes in specific lengths and/or widths. The angle of the awning may come into play, so also measure the length of the awning from high side to low side.
